The Who and Roger Waters

We realized that it would be much easier and faster to take down the
tent and sun shade Sunday afternoon right before we left for the show.
That way we wouldn't need to do it either in the middle of the night or
in the early morning.
There were almost no bugs and very little wind, so there was no real
reason for the tent at night.

The very long line to get into the photography exhibit.
There was no line at the other door....

I saw someone eating a very appetizing dish and asked what it was
Tempura Avocado Salad.... never heard of such a thing but I needed to
try it.
They also had tacos...

I recognized every song played by both The Who and Roger Waters Sunday
night.
I don't think that's ever happened at any concert before, usually the
artist has some new album out nobody cares about and they play
something no one wants to here.
For example, Paul McCartney wrote a song for his wife Nancy and played
it Saturday night.
The Who haven't written any new music in a few decades that I'm aware
of.
Roger Waters played, in order, most of Dark Side, most of Wish You
Where Here, Dogs and Pigs from Animals, and several songs from The Wall.
He also played a One of These Days and a few older songs mixed in.
He did not play any solo material, and he didn't play anything newer
than The Wall.
It was an amazing set, and undoubtadly the best show I've ever seen or
ever will see.
Both Robby and CJ agreed it was incredible and they doubt they'll ever
see anything as good either.
Robby thought Paul McCartney was the second best show of the weekend.
CJ thought that The Rolling Stones were the second best show.
I loved Paul MaCartney, but I suppose that's more for his songs than
his showmanship.
The Stones put on a great show.
Roger goes back on tour in the spring of 2017.
He's supposed to release a new album between now and then, and he'll
play some new music on that tour.
This might have been the last time he plays only old material.

The mudhole is now closed to fishing.
