Thursday was a rest day.
I had toyed with the idea of climbing Sustenpass, but late Wednesday I
found that you need to make a reservation for a bike on a bus by 4pm
the day before your ride.
Too late.
I wanted to see the Rhone Glacier, but I wasn't up to climbing the west side of Furkapass.
There are only a couple of buses a day up to the Rhone Glacier, the logistics for mass transit didn't work well.

So around rush hour, a car drives onto the train every few minutes, and
eventually the train goes through the Furka base tunnel to Realp.
Drivers stay in their car for the duration, presumably finding
something easier, safer, and more productive than driving Furkapass.
An interesting commute.

Late in the day I noticed the Furka steam train coming down from Fletsch, I had no idea this was a possibility
I had an awesome day, but that would have been even more awesome.
