Robby had never been a Zeppelin fan, he seems to think their music
mostly or entirely borrowed/stolen from the blues.
He texted me Friday when he realized Robert Plant was a relatively late
substitute at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass - he was willing to see him at
a free concert :).
Robert Plant played Ramble On, Four Sticks, Friends, and Babe I'm Gonna
Leave You, among others.
No solo material I recognized.
I recorded all the Zeppelin, though from distance with an 8x zoom so
likely not great.
The sound was not loud enough - so many people talking in the audience
at the free concert you couldn't hear Robert Plant introduce his songs.
Emmylou Harris was the other headliner (dozens of acts over 3 days at 5
stages,
all free).
Robby had never heard of her.
My father adored her so much he waited after her show and got an album
autographed decades ago...
We saw her in the walk out at another stage, got to hear her sing a
song, mission accomplished.
Dad would be happy.
