We had decided against buying groceries on Saturday before entering the park, we figured we'd stock up with whatever we needed at Eddies.
Eddies used to have a small selection of groceries at outrageous prices, now they have almost nothing other than snacks.
It was a slow and hungry Sunday morning, I knew we needed food and more importantly beverages for the week..
Robby and I drove about 15 miles back west to Canyon Foods in Hungry Horse, bought a styrafoam cooler, ice, and about $200 worth of beer and groceries.
We knew we'd only see one other grocery store the next week - the St Mary Grocery Store on Tuesday on the drive over to Many Glacier.
We gased up at the nearby Sinclair.
Carolyn's Cafe, in the same building at the Sinclair, was packed, clearly this was the place for breakfast, but we did not eat.

As we were watching the sun set we heard from nearby guests that the Highline trail had closed today due to grizzly activity.
I had decided against the hiking the Highline today because I wanted better weather for pictures, and Monday was supposed to have better weather.
I was not happy - it could take days for them to reopen the trail, which would really screw up my plans.
Robby and I decided to head up to Logan Pass tomorrow anyway to hike whatever we could.
