Fortunately the Highline trail reopened after only a day so we were able to hike it on Wednesday
Robby and I drove in from Many Glacier - it took about an hour, which
is really only maybe 5-10 minutes longer than the drive from Apgar to
Logan Pass.

Robby decided he wanted to see the Grinell Glacier overlook, which ruled out Swiftcurrent, which was fine...

The trail was so busy I didn't feel the need to carry bear spray, but
decided I'd feel stupid getting eaten by a bear with my bear spray in
my pack.

The mama and baby mountain goat went down the cliff around Robby and
me. The guy in back of the goats basically chased them. I
tried to keep out of their way.

When we got to the Loop parking lot there were about 20 people waiting in line in the hot sun for a ride up to Logan Pass.
We 'slingshoted' - rode down the wrong way to ensure we'd get a seat on the bus up.
It probably didn't get us to Logan Pass any faster, but it got us sitting down in air conditioning quickly, which was nice.

Wednesday night the pianist in the dining room played lots of Beatles.
There was a singalong, it became apparent that the one of the employees
was leaving and was singing goodbye to the rest of his team.
There were many hugs, including the piano player.
