An arsonist set the hill on fire despite the fact that the hill is
completely surrounded by residential areas.
News reports said he'd been arrested for arson at least a dozen times
previously.
Can't find any info on him after the arrest.

Dusty and I have just parted
Waaa! It's been a trip of a lifetime, truly, and the mountain gods let
us enter their realm for a few minutes and decided we could live.
Well, I'm still testing that one - on way for a hopeful summit of
Jaginhorn via via ferrata.
I'm staying in Saas Fee 2 more days then taking train to Milan and
Bologna.
Have to find things w/o help now.

Another day, another Swiss summit!
Jeginhorn was a piece of cake.
Not as tough as the Zermatt Scheifinen but longer and with more fun
rock climbing - plus a wobbly rope bridge!
Now just need to get down.

On the bus in Grindelwald saw what i assume was dust cloud from a
sizeable rockfall up the valley i'll be hiking tomorrow.

I have only been to Grindelwald once before to bike up Mannlichen on an
overcast day, was not impressed.
Pretty awesome today.
Hotel Residence is a 5m walk from First and Pfingstegg, maybe 10m walk
from downtown, perfect location....
First time i have been warm on this trip.
It took all my willpower to NOT take the waiting train up to Kleine
Sheidegg from Grindelwald after i got off the bus.

It rained for a little while after I got back to the room - nothing too
