Quick cold shower at the poste this morning, hot water out at the entire "hotel" (I worked in the hotel industry, that ain't a hotel).
Phone didn't work when I tried to call someone about the hot water - seemed pretty dead.

On the train to Zurich where i am looking forward to a hot shower and air conditioning...

Dusty: checked into Hotel Limmatblick in Zurich and cranked the ac, not quite glacier cold but functional :)
Dusty:  for a cheap room in an expensive city, it doesn't have an awful view
129.60 chf for two people on booking.com genius rate excluding city tax - only 7 chf more than the single person rate.
Unbelievable bargain for a decent room!
Dusty:  that is the bahnhoff just across the river

Ray: I had to shop for Amy one last time
Ray: No way could I come back empty-handed from this one!!
Ray: Am now at Camparino having an Italian greyhound before moving to the train station
Ray: I thought the waiter was giving me a vape pen for a second but it was just the silverware rest
Ray: The food in the Galleria/Duomo area is excellent
Ray: Had a berry smoothie that was amazing

Ray: When Mike and I were in Peru we got suckered by a hotel guy who promised a hot-water shower
Ray: It didn't have hot water, but it did have a giant grasshopper that crawled up my leg.

Ray: He probably didn't know the hot water was out.

I'd been very much looking forward to a return visit...
