After a trainride to Gatwick, a short British Air flight to Amsterdam, another trainride into town, and a trolley ride, we arrived at the Hotel Hoksbergen.

We had reservations for the Anne Frank House at 4:30, which gave us a little time to settle in.

The Anne Frank House doesn't allow pictures.
The rooms are left empty by Otto Frank's choice, reflecting the fact that everyone was taken away.
However you can see plenty of details of their lives left in the furnishings and on the walls.
The end of the tour features the original diaries - there were three, she wrote alot.
