Orangerie and Eiffel Tower
For years I've asked the kids where they'd like to go on vacation.
Finally Robby said "Paris and Rome" and CJ agreed.
We planned to go in April but were delayed until August.
I was pleased to be able to book frequent flier tickets in August 2022 in March of 2022, typically they are all sold out.
In the end CJ decided he needed to keep working at his new company so he didn't come.

Kent: What are you seeing in Roma? I'm not sure I'd do guided
tours for the forum, colosseum, or even Vatican after my experience in
June if I only have a few days
Kent: Skip the line was also run thru the museum at breakneck
speed after a 45minute talk in a boring shadeless courtyard describing
the chapel painting

Dusty: Only Guided tour is of the floor of the coliseum, we have our own tickets for Vatican museum, borghese, pompei, ercolano
Dusty: I use Rick Steves audioguides in museums frequently, they
are fast paced enough to be useful, nearly every audio guide I've
rented is about twice as long as it should be.

Dusty: I had to search swisstopo to find both of these glaciers
Dusty: Very curious what now-disused trail near Britannia hut those lost climbers were on when they found that body.
