The service door above Großsee is behind the snowbank on the far left My GPS hit 2458m and it typically reads 4m lower than posted elevations, either elevation makes Großsee the 15th highest paved road in the Alps |

The last stretch up to the service door above the Großsee dam is on the far left. You can see the snow I had to walk around. Another cyclist is approaching the left side of the dam. Other than the motorcyclists (who were not here legally) he was the only person I saw above the power company far down the valley. |
