In late 2014 Karin and Kathy started planning a 'girls trip' to London.

I eventually decided that I'd like to see London and was invited to go along.

I backed out for a while since I was also planning to go to Switzerland in August 2015 and 3-4 weeks of vacation in Europe seemed a bit excessive.

However once I found Kathy's 'free' frequent flier ticket from SFO to London I booked two tickets, not one, knowing full well that I'd immediately regret not buying myself a ticket.

I decided to add a second week in Europe onto our itinerary, adding Amerstam and a repeat visit to Paris.

After a few changes and improvements I got our 'free' return tickets from Paris to SFO, connecting in Charlotte on USAir metal both ways.
