This year we decided to take a roadtrip.... a 3000 mile roadtrip covering 7 states..  The lodges at Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks all fill up months in advance, and I didn't start planning until way too late.  Calling back frequently, I was able to scrape together some really good reservations from others' cancellations.
